This year's competition is open to locals and among the kites used during the day-long event are sikulak and siar manjar
Members of the public will also have the opportunity to take a closer look at Japanese kite Rokako
Other activities at the event include a kite colouring contest for children under the age of 12, a karaoke singing competition and a bouncer for children
For those interested in participating in the competition, entry forms can be obtained at the Brunei-Muara District Office during office hours
