March 25th-27th: BHASG Temburong Voluntary Work

Date: 25th-27th March (2 nights and 3 days stay)
Time: Departing from Bandar (Tambing) via boat at 7 AM (approximately 45minutes journey)
Transport: Via boat Bandar-Temburong-Bandar. At Bangar we will be transported by bus around the town
Venue:
Accommodation at Youth and Sports center, Bangar
Project at Sekolah Rendah Sultan Hassan
Activities:
To beautify the school compound as to create a friendly and happy environment for the students there
Ice breaking session with 10 officials from SRSH on the first day which include teachers and clerks
Landscaping, gardening, painting and do some artworks that includes 'khat' (jawi) work, painting the corridor lanes with board games etc, handicrafts for night activities
Games will be conducted for both officials and volunteers to strengthen the bond, team work and well, to release the 'stress' and have fun together :)
SPECIAL Request (hehe): Request for lot of man power for this project especially in the field of carrying heavy loads. (Yes boys, we ladies need your muscles)
Collection fees:
For volunteers - $15 ($10 will be donated to project expenses while $5 is boat fee to Temburong. Volunteers return fee will be sponsored by the committees)
List of things to bring: As per usual for overstay activity; clothes, toiletries, telekong for Muslimahs, sports shoes, camping food etc.
Other Info:
This project is especially dedicated to the former 136 Bokok students who got transferred to SRSH due to the flash flood which damaged SR Bokok a few months back
Our vision is to liven up their spirits, bring cheer and smiles to the children
There will be a meeting this SUNDAY 23rd of March 2PM at Aranda Cafe, D'Anggerek Hotel where the Group will brief you about the project and give committees and volunteers the paper programme and things to bring
Volunteers who want to pay or donate the collection fee before Sunday can be made at Restaurant Soto Babu; No 158, Spg 40, Kg Sungai Akar - Ask for Lina 8912917 (Payments are best to be made at night. The venue is visible on a hill with 'lampung cucul')
