INTRODUCING: Brunei Humanitarian Affairs Support Group

About Brunei Humanitarian Affairs Support Group:
The first Humanitarian Affairs Support Group in Brunei Darussalam
An internationally-recognized group (recognised by humanitarianaffairs.org) and under the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports, Brunei
Established on the 24th of January 2008
Initiated by Ak Hj Ahmad Fadillah bin Pg Hj Sellahuddin - a local student
Aims of Group:
Empower the local youths by encouraging them to be involved in voluntary activities and youth programmes particularly those that seek to alleviate poverty and eradicate child exploitation
Vision of Group:
Provide an opportunity for youths to engage in humanitarian services
Strengthen their awareness on the diverse cultures around.
Develop a lifelong commitment to helping others by participating in relief efforts to benefit impoverished communities throughout the world
Other Info:
There are currently six active members temporarily holding the committee positions
All meet up regularly for weekly meetings that are usually held on Thursday nights or Friday afternoons
Brunei Humanitarian Affairs Support Group is OPEN to public registration
Volunteers who are willing to participate the Temburong Voluntary Relief Aid this coming 23rd March are welcome too
