Rimba Youth Association Essay Competition

Open to: local writers aged 15 - 30 years
Deadline: 3pm on 30th March 2007
Prizes:

• Winner - $800
• Runner-up - $700
• Third place winner - $600
• Two honorary prizes - $300 each
• Selected Ten writers win incentive prize - $100 each

Rules of competition:

• Writers may select any of 17 titles provided by the secretariat
• Submitted essays must not be less than 1,000 words, original and unpublished
• A writer is allowed to send one manuscript only
• Five copies of the essay, including one in diskette or CD, have to be delivered to address below
