Weekend Events so far.. (Part ii)

National Rafting Klasik 2006

Date: Sunday, August 13th 2006

Venue: Belait River, with the focal point at Menara Cendera Kenangan

"Raft race that challenges teams to use their ingenuity and mechanical know-how to build a raft and manoeuvre it around a simple course on Belait River. Past teams have have been creative in constructing their rafts by using materials ranging from logs and bamboos to Sehat bottles, PVC pipes and oil drums. "Sounds so cool! I'd want to see this!!

Each team is required to come up with their own team and costume!

Bring your kids also as the event promise free bouncers, free flow of ice cream and candy floss! Fun for all!!

1st National Triathlon

Date: Sunday, August 13th 2006

Time: 6:30am

Venue: Serasa Water Sports Complex, Muara

The Triathlon will include a 500 meter swim, followed by cycling for a distance of 42km, then running for a distance of 10km.

Six categories have been arranged, comprising of both male and female competitors in various age group such as 18 years and below, 19 years and above, plus team events.

It's the first national event so go & show your support for them!!
